Prime Economy reports that CoAsia (045970), a specialized semiconductor design company, announced on the 1st that it would participate in the "Arm Tech Symposia 2024," hosted by Arm, a leading provider of processor IP and computing platforms.
The "Arm Tech Symposia 2024" event takes place on the 1st at the Grand Hyatt in Yongsan, Seoul. This annual event features sessions on computing platforms for AI, cloud and infrastructure, automotive, IoT, and consumer devices, alongside showcases of the latest platform technologies optimized for AI. It also includes panel discussions and gathers Arm's key partners to discuss industry trends and the outlook for the next generation of technology.
This year, under the theme "Redefining the Future," the event is being held in five cities across four Asian countries, including South Korea.
CoAsia will attend events in Korea, China, and Taiwan, hosting individual booths at each location and introducing their technologies in dedicated tech sessions. Through its position as a core partner with Arm, CoAsia aims to continually discover potential global clients and accelerate substantial business expansion.
CoAsia plans to unveil its "Vision AI SoC Platform," based on Arm’s IP solutions, at the event. This platform is optimized for developing Vision AI SoCs, which include high-performance neural processing units (NPUs), graphics processing units (GPUs), and image signal processors (ISPs).
The platform offers the advantage of pre-verifying IP and sub-systems, allowing for a shortened overall development period.
A CoAsia representative stated, "By presenting our platform technology developed in collaboration with Arm at this event, we aim to validate our solutions with potential clients and strengthen our partnership with Arm. Through 'Arm Tech Symposia 2024,' we plan to further expand our global business foundation."
CoAsia has major subsidiaries, including CoAsia Semi, which owns global design centers in Taiwan and Vietnam and sales offices in China, Hong Kong, Europe, and North America, as well as CoAsia Nexell, a specialized provider of RTL and software solutions for AI, automotive, and high-performance computing (HPC).
CoAsia, as an Arm "turnkey SoC design partner" and an official design solution partner for Samsung Foundry's "SAFE Program," is currently engaged in various turnkey projects for global clients, including Edge AI chip development, AI automotive projects, and turnkey development tasks for HPC-oriented AI.
